1. Assistant Management Accountant

A Part Time Assistant Management Accountant - Urgently Required A city centre based role working for a well established charity has opened for a part time assistant accountant. This excellent opportunity will mean working as part of a friendly team who work to tight deadlines in a collaborative way. The daily duties will include: - Assisting in completing the monthly and weekly management accounts - Completing bank reconciliations daily - Preparing accruals and prepayments - Maintaining the nominal ledger and cashbook - Inputting high volumes of data on the nominal ledger - Updating ledger details for reporting purposes - Identifying and investigating discrepancies - Manipulating data in MS Excel daily - Carrying out various ad-hoc duties as required by the manager The right person must be comfortable working with a team who are outgoing and chatty but be able to cope with managing their own workload. You must have good attention to detail, be proactive and able to amend errors. An urgent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Project Management Accountant in Greater Manchester area. Working on 6months fixed term contract basis, the role will be to undertake responsibility for management accounts as well as the supervision of a Finance Assistant. Duties will include: Perform the full range of accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting of operating and capital expenditures to asset teams, incorporating valid accruals, analysis of movements, relevant balance sheet reconciliations.
