They are looking for a new Marketing and Sales Manager to come into one of their treatment centres. The centre is based in Kent and the role will cover the South East. The role will be to increase the level of referrals that come into the centre and increase awareness in the marketplace of this centre. This will come about through liaising with varying parties in the local community. Due to the area you will be working in, it is vital that candidates have the following skills: Marketing, PR or Sales experience from within the Healthcare Sector Good understanding of the Healthcare Sector and the role within it of Treatment Centres. As there will be a good deal of travelling, candidates will need to have a full UK driving licence and their own car. In recognition of this, the role will be paid up to £32,000 plus an annual performance related bonus of around £3,000. Working for a leading Biotechnology company as a Marketing Executive. The Marketing Executive will develop and implement Marketing Plans for the product lines allocated to the job holder within the International territory, in line with the division's strategy and covering all elements of the Marketing mix (Product, Price, Promotion, and Place). Report to the Marketing Manager. Will be supported by the Marketing Administrator for Marketing Communications execution and administrative tasks. Will not be a budget holder, however will assist in the budgeting process for activities associated with the product lines allocated to the job holder. Will support sales efforts for the International territory, which in total at present generates approx. £10 million revenue per annum. 1. To gather, compile and analyse market intelligence for the allocated product segments by working with the sales team, following competitive activity in the media, using internet searches and market research provided. To identify when additional market research is required and propose suitable reports or organisations to support these needs. 2. To analyse the market intelligence gathered with the aim of determining competitive positioning and, together with Marketing management, identifying opportunities for growth, targeted Marketing Communications, pricing strategies, product improvements, or product line additions. 3. To develop and update the Marketing plan associated with the assigned products, ensuring alignment with divisional strategy and global initiative. To identify appropriate communication and promotional tools and trade shows or exhibitions that will maximise Market development for the product lines specified. 4. To ensure that the Marketing Communications plan is executed effectively using the resource available. To create and/or source the appropriate marketing materials and services or alternatively delegate and co-ordinate this activity with the Marketing Administrator, depending on availability or skill sets required. To support field visits including seminars, workshops and exhibitions. 10. To adhere to all relevant internal Quality Assurance processes and ensure materials produced are checked for regulatory compliance. 11. To ensure that safe working methods and practices are adopted at all times and in accordance with Company policy for the safety of the post holder and all others within the working environment. 12. To be responsible for house keeping, tidiness and general cleanliness of all areas in which the post holder is working. Close working relationships with whole of commercial team, Sales, Technical Marketing, Customer Service, Demand Planning, and Management. Regular participation in cross-functional teams which include people from other departments, including R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Program management. In addition to these relationships the job holder will also be required to work with Senior management, external vendors, and customers. The job holder will be asked to work independently wherever possible and will be empowered to bring in support from other individuals where needed.
