: YOUNG GRADUATE DESIGN ENGINEER SPECIALIST RISER AND PIPELINE DESIGN CONSULTANCY BASED ABERDEEN - ATTRACTIVE CAREER OPPORTUNITY Our client is a small independent engineering consultancy specialising in deepwater riser and pipeline system engineering. They work on development of concepts, analysis and design of new systems, re-analysis of existing structures and general installation work for a variety of Operators and Contractors in both Europe and the USA. Due to business expansion, a career opportunity has arisen for an ambitious graduate (or one with up to three years experience) looking to develop his/her career in the exciting but demanding work of engineering analysis, management and design of complex subsea systems. You will have a good degree (2.1 minimum) in Mechanical, Structural, Civil or Aeronautical Engineering or alternatively Mathematics. An MSc in a related subject such as Ocean or Subsea Engineering would also be an advantage. You will be knowledgeable in at least one of the following disciplines: Hydrodynamics, Structural design, FEA, Heat Transfer, structural dynamics, Naval Architecture or Computational Methods. It is essential that you are well motivated and keen to develop your career in this extremely varied and dynamic environment.
