: Our client based in Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire requires a Warehouse Supervisor to join their company. You will be working for one of the leading distribution companies that cover the whole of the UK. The Role: Managing 6-20 picking and packing staff Hands on management experience Reporting directly to the contracts manager Overseeing incoming and outgoing orders Inventory control Responsible for budgets (head count overtime etc) Involved in staff issues, return to work, sickness holidays etc Training and motivating your team Working a 2 shift system (no nights) This is a fast paced environment with some products having a very short shelf life Dealing with the key accounts Constantly aware of clients requirements and issues Ensuring the lines of communication are open between the client and the customer. Administration as and when required You will require: Supervisory/ Management/Team Leader experience within a warehouse environment Experience of working for a distribution company Able to work in a fast paced environment Experience of dealing with customers Good communication skills Good admin skills Able to priorities, motivate and delegate Able to work shifts Benefits: Contributory pension 4% Free secure car park Subsidized canteen Uniform 20 days holiday + stats
