The company wants to expand their planning department as a whole and is therefore currently recruiting for planners of all levels. This is to work on a range of prestigious utilities projects across the Manchester region. You will be based at their office close to Worsley. Essential skills: -The ideal candidate will have spent a minimum of 2 years working as a planner -You will have at least 2 years rail/utilities sector experience, preferably in a planning capacity -You will be proficient in the use of P3 planning software, and have experience of using it in a commercial environment -Experience of P3e planning software is an advantage -Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be communicating with Senior Planners and planning staff internally and both clients and other contractors externally You will work within the planning department, and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): -Earned Value Analysis -Costing and forecasting -Creating detailed project plans -Progress monitoring and progress reporting -Communicating with the planning department internally, and clients and contractors externally Remuneration Salaries will vary dependent on levels of experience, but you can expect a basic salary of between GBP 25,000 and GBP 45,000.
