Description:

Our client, an energetic and expanding organisation involved in the development of complex medical device products,currently has a truly exceptional opportunity for a high calibre and experienced US qualified Patent Attorney based attheir newly established site in Stirling.Working within the business development department, the purpose of this role is to implement and develop our clientspatent strategy.Key responsibilities include: Implementing the patent strategy and developing it as the business grows Building and managing the patent portfolio through drafting, critiquing in-house and external drafts and dealing withofficial actions. Working with Senior Management to secure key external IP required to secure the portfolio Working closely with staff and inventors to identify potential patent applications Line management of 2 staffBeing involved at start up phase in an outstanding opportunity and we are looking for individuals who are regarded as thebest in their field. With a strong background and experience in working with inventors and drafting and filing patentapplications. You will also have a formal qualification as a US Patent Attorney and a science degree. This role willallow you to enjoy the opportunity of establishing yourself as part of an organisation at the grass roots of itsdevelopment.
