Urgent! Temporary Technologists - Surface Coatings, Ref: 12751 DWOur client is a multinational company who develops and manufactures a wide range of surface coating products. Due to anincrease in workload, they have an immediate requirement for several technologists to plan and carry out the verificationof their in-store tint system recipes as part of Colour matching projectsResponsibilities:-Preparation of wet samples of paint and UV coatings-Carry out laboratory work to verify tint recipes.-Preparation of panels and rollouts-Applying and Measuring Colour Samples.-Carrying out routine testing of paints and coatings-Carrying out routine physical testing of coated panels-Occasional support for QC department-Preparing matched colour formations from colour concentrates-Accurately record and archive results in-line with ISO procedures.-Data recording and input into Colour software applications.Interested candidates will have science-based GCSEs or Alevels with good practical handling skills and previousexperience of paint, ink or coatings an advantage though not essential. Applicants MUST have full colour vision.Candidates will need to be creative and innovative, able to remain focused and work unsupervised.Based in the South East, these are temporary positions for 6-12 months. The role offers a salary dependant upon skillsand experience, to GBP 17,000 per annum.
