Unix System Support Manager required for my public service client based in Glasgow to manage and develop the Unix SystemsSupport Team and to ensure the efficient 24 x 7 running of the Divisions Unix Server Applications.You will have over 5 years Unix Systems Administration experience with a proven ability of managing staff with diverseskills and abilities; worked with various flavours of Unix (AIX, Solaris, DGUX); have strong scripting skills and RDBMSexperience (Oracle preferred).Ideally you will be educated to Degree level (or equivalent), ITIL certified in Service Management and have knowledge offormal methodologies such as ELMP, Six Sigma or Prince.
