An exciting opportunity to join a friendly Unix team with a major blue chip solutions consultancy in Birmingham. Workingon in a busy multi client environment across a varied range of platforms but primarily with HP-UX and AIX, also someSolaris. The ideal candidate will have experience of HP-UX 11i, Aix 5.1/5.2/5.3 and Solaris 8/9/10. Further skills inHIDS, Sendmail, EVA3000 Disk Array, HP K and L series Hardware, Legato Networker/Tivoli Storage Manager, a knowledge ofHA/CMP and TCP/IP, BMC Patrol and so forth would be of real benefit. Looking for a flexible individual who would bewilling to take part in occasional out of hours work and to participate in an on call rota.Commanding a salary of up to GBP 38000, and providing plenty of opportunity for career progression with company committed tostaff development.
