Our client is a long established and highly successful Third Party Logistics provider. Following a recent majorreorganisation they are currently looking to appoint a new member of the board to look specifically at stream liningtheir vast Transport network.The Role.A member of the board of Directors you will strategically asses the current Transport/Fleet operations and implementnecessary changes to improve profitability and efficiency. You will manage both In-House and Contract vehicles across amulti-site network, delivering the best possible Supply Chain solutions for both the company and the customer.The Requirements.You hold full CPC qualification and at least 5 years in a senior management role focussing on Transport/Distributionoperations. Experience in the 3PL arena would be a great advantage as would exposure to alternative methods ofdistribution and containerisation. Multi-site experience is essential as is a demonstrable track record of commercialawareness, change management and team motivation. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
