Key accountabilities:* Agree day to day scheduling of own work with project manager* Carry out translation assignments and pass translations to colleagues for review * carry out peer review of work of fellow translators * Ensure high standards of customer care and good communication between customer and company at all times* Keep project manager and customers fully appraised of all significant progress or any possible variance from the agreed schedule * Complete job sheets for each translation and pass to operations manager for processing* Develop knowledge of subject matter of translations through background reading from relevant sources of information* Play active part in maintenance of translation memory database for the benefit of whole team * Play a significant role as a team member, suggesting improvements and demonstrating flexibility according to the companys needs* Take responsibility for personal continuing professional development of language skills by maintaining personal development plan in discussion with the head of translation.Huntress Search Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
