GBP 13K Pro Rata (25 Hours Per Week)Reporting to: Personnel & Training OfficerJob PurposeDelivers support to the Personnel and Training Department in a cost effective and timely manner.Principle AccountabilitiesTraining facilitation (accounting for 60% of the role)To organise all external training eventsAccountable for the administration of the training function and to maintain accurate training records.To assist with all employee development projects and to advise where necessary on new initiatives by utilising backgroundknowledge or thorough research.To manage and maintain the employee induction system, thus ensuring all employees are briefed on basic employmentdetails.ReportsTo undertake the monthly absence and headcount reports.Occupational HealthTo co-ordinate the annual medical survey, night assessments and annual eye assessments and orders all necessary first aidsupplies.Job descriptionsTo maintain the job descriptions and make available to relevant personnel.AdministrationOpens the post, completes mortgage applications, assists with system and absence updates, orders stationery and ID badgesand other relevant associated tasks.SupportSupports the P&TO and Personnel Administrator with their tasks as necessary.QualificationsGCSE education or equivalent, including EnglishA relevant personnel qualificationSkills / Knowledge / ExperienceThe tasks described here are self managed and require attention to detail and accuracy in the input, co-ordination andissue of all documentation and reports.The job holder must have the ability to interact with people of all levels and be confident to enough to hold trainingIt is desirable that the incumbent brings previous manufacturing experience and personnel experience of at least 3 years.Other Significant InformationEnvironment and Health & Safety IssuesAfter training, be actively involved in: Principles and controls associated with Environmental Management as applicable toISO 14001, and Health & Safety within the workplace.Quality AssuranceTo undertake every task to the highest possible quality standard and to ensure internal and external customersatisfaction through the adherence to proper procedures at all times.
