They deal successfully with the major OEM's across Europe.Due to ongoing expansion plans they are seeking to appoint a Toolmaker / Toolroom Engineer to work at their engineeringcentre of excellence in Nottingham. Your role will involve- Providing support to all production tooling across the Nottingham facility by both planned and reactive methods.- Recommend and implement improvements on tooling to improve efficiency, quality and cost.The key technical features of the role include the maintenance, repair and improvement of multi-stage progression presstooling to achieve maximum efficiency and improve tool life.The skills and qualifications required for the role include:- Turning, Drilling and Milling- Surface cylindrical grind- Press Tool experience- BTEC / ONC or equivalent- Timeserved toolmakerTo apply for the role:- You need to possess good interpersonal and communication skills- You will be self-motivated, professional and determined to succeed- We are seeking experienced Engineers, who still have a huge passion for the industry, along with creative flair, aproven track record and an ability to think outside of the box- You will work well under pressure, whilst maintaining a logical approach.- You must have a proactive approach- Be Physically fit, and able to work at high level (some lifting is a requirement of this role)- Have good colour visionThe Application ProcessSend your CV using the link below.
