Process is responsible for supervising a number of projects, serving as the Process Team Leader on a World Class Projectand /or acting as the specialist for the Power Sector projects. Serves as a Project Manager for Process Studies or FrontEnd Design work. Minimum 20 years of relevant experience with an engineering company or operating company, and at least10 years of Energy from Waste and / or Power sector experience in a lead role. Undertakes reviews and approvesdocumentation on water sector work as required by the company or client procedures and common sense. Reviewsdocumentation prepared in the process team and checks and critiques these deliverables from both a conceptual anddetailed perspective. Provides a consultative process service to power sector projects at every stage of the process.Sets the required technical bases for the execution of process activities. Is thoroughly familiar with PEM, all CompanyProcedures, Departmental Methods and Guidelines, International Standards, and explains, clarifies and interprets thesedocuments for others. Authorities:Is familiar with the deliverables for submission to authorities in the majorjurisdictions served by company. Is familiar with types of permits required for the jurisdictions related to companybusiness and the required supporting documents. ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Leadership:Supervisesthe execution of process activities on projects by: Providing the lead engineer and other process staff with the requiredtechnical and non-technical direction. Keeping informed on the progress of project activities on power projects throughregularly scheduled project review sessions with the Lead Engineer, and ad hoc sessions with Lead Engineers and others.Takes corrective actions with regard to staffing, process team organization and technical execution as required. Whenrequested by Management, organizes and leads large teams of Process engineers and serves as the Process Team Manager fora World Class size project. Alternatively leads or coordinates the process activities for several projects for aparticular client or technology area. Serves as a Project Manager for process studies or front end design work.
