Technical Safety Consultant (Hazard and Risk Management)Job Description:Our client is a premier provider of advanced technology and system solutions to onshore and offshore operators with aproven track record of over 30 years experience servicing clients worldwide.Their main area of expertise is hazard and risk management for the oil and gas industry. They are looking to recruit anexperienced hazard and risk assessment engineer to join their team delivering an exciting range of safety work, both toclients in the UK and overseas.Responsibilities will include delivery of work in the following areas: Safety Case updates and development for offshore and onshore sites and pipelines Safety analysis of modifications to existing plant and/or infringements to codes of practice Consequence analysis and quantified risk assessment (QRA) of major hazards, including fires, explosions, gas dispersionand smoke dispersion.Requirements for the post are: A degree (2:1 or higher) in Physics, Mathematics or Engineering (relevant post graduate qualifications and/or Charteredstatus would be an advantage). A minimum of three years relevant experience of the development and/or application of quantitative hazard and riskanalysis techniques (more experienced applicants welcome remuneration package will be commensurate with experience). Knowledge of the oil and gas industry and relevant safety legislation (operational experience an advantage but notessential). Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
