They employ people who canmake a real contribution to those goals; people who are dynamic, dedicated to their job and their customers, people whoare team players and above all passionate about technology.We are looking for a technical project manager who is as deeply interested in the technology as they are in the art ofdelivering systems to spec, date, budget and quality criteria. You must have a solid Microsoft background with recentexperience of projects using .NET technologies in web based systems. You must have worked across the entire projectlifecycle and actively used or applied structured software design and development methods such as OO, RUP and be aware ofsoftware engineering process such as configuration and release management. You must have superb communication andcustomer facing skills and have extensive experience of business and requirements analysis. Experience of formalestimating approaches would be ideal. Experience of planning, tracking and controlling project costs, schedule andquality for projects over GBP 100k in value is necessary. You must be hands-on and can do in your attitude and begenuinely concerned with customer care and satisfaction. Professional project qualifications (e.g. ISEB, APM, PRINCE 2)are a bonus though we will fund these for the right individuals. This role may also suit someone who has been working asa Senior Developer/Technical Lead and is looking to take on more project management responsibility and we would createopportunities to help you keep your technical skills up to date. You need to be a graduate with a good degree in ascience, maths or engineering discipline and have upwards of 5 years relevant experience. This role is likely to requiresome travel within the UK. |
