Description:

The role: Provide technical leadership and direction regarding the Minor & Intermediate Works activities and tocontribute towards the effective and efficient delivery of the Variation Works process. Responsible for ensuring that theLUL instructed variations are accurately assessed, in respect of safety & technical issues, comply with the PPP Contract.Accountabilities: Responsible for the implementation of techniques for accurately assessing the safety & technical impactof all Minor & Intermediate Works requests. Implementation of performance criteria to ensure compliance with contractualobligations. Responsible for gaining all necessary approvals and concessions or TANCS to deliver and install therequested works package. Responsible for the development & management of the Premises & Minor Works management Plan,including a robust audit process. Required skills & experience: Qualified to diploma/degree standard in an Engineering orBuilding related discipline. Full membership of relevant professional body. Experience of working within an Engineeringrole, either Civil, Building, Electrical/Mechanical or Structural, managing the technical aspects of work packages.Experience of successfully managing the technical input to a wide variety of small to medium-scale projects. Experienceof current London Underground safety and technical standards.
