Description:

Working on Contract as a SW Engineer your main duties will be as follows: a)Specify the database design and lead the database real-time performance optimization. b)Detail the implementation specification of the modules allocated by the project manager, with identified tasks & time estimates. c)Implement the allocated modules in TCL/TK and Python/Java Script for the GUIs and in C++ for the server functions in connection with a real-time relational database d)Specify and develop the corresponding test harnesses & interface simulation tools.e)Validate the allocated module before integration. f)Assist during the integration on customer sites when required.Key skills required include the following: a)Knowledge & experience of Relational database design & optimisation, SQL & C++. b)Experience of IP networks, Linux/Unix, Tcl/tk, Python/Java Script, project planning, telecommunications services, would be desirable. c)You should enjoy working as a member of a multi national team in a modern and technically challenging environment. d)Knowledge of another European language would be a valuable asset."
