Are you an experienced store manager or very strong assistant manager looking for a new retail opportunity?My client is a well known high street fashion retailer and they are looking to recruit a Store Manager for their branch in Maidstone, Kent. This is an exciting and definitely challenging position and needs someone with loads of enthusiasm and tenacity. You will be responsible for every aspect of managing the shop, including stock control, visual merchandising, staff selection and training and all cash handling. You role as branch manager will be to oversee the general management of the store and to ensure that sales targets are achieved through excellent staff management and customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are the key attributes needed by the right candidate. Ideally you should have a minimum of three years experience working within retail with at least one year in fashion, footwear or sport retail.
