: Specialist Mining & Exploration Software Solutions provider has a vacancy for a Software QA Technician. Candidates must have at least 2 years experience of software testing, preferably with a product company. You will be responsible for the production of Testing documentation, Test execution and Bug Tracking, Testing Procedures and the Management of Test Data and Environments. Ideally you will have some experience with Testing Tools, Implementation of Testing Procedures and involvement in QA Audits. Web based testing and any previous experience in a support role is desirable. A scientific or mining background would also be an advantage. It is essential that you have excellent written and oral communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. You must be able to demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm and commitment and be able to work on your own initiative.
