Description:

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer and Graduate Test Engineers to join a company based in Scotland whospecialise in the design, development and manufacture of Medical Imaging Software. The candidate will be responsible forwriting; maintaining and conducting both manual and automated tests on C/C++ windows based software. They should havepractical knowledge of software development tools, techniques and processes as they will also be required to update testplans and test specifications as they carry out the tests.The Software test role candidate must have a Computer Science, Mathematical or Scientific degree level qualification withat least 2 years experience of manual software testing. Experience of automated testing and some coding skills,particularly C/C++ would be advantageous.The Graduate test role candidate must have a Computer Science, Mathematical or Scientific degree level qualification witha genuine interest in software testing and coding experience gained via either personal or professional pursuits would bebeneficial.Both candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding observation andanalytical techniques that are thorough, methodical and consistent with an attention to detail in their problem solvingapproach.
