We handle comparison requests for over 170,000 users per day.We have a great opportunity for a Software Release Engineer keen to work in a fast paced and rewarding environment. Working in our IT Products team, your principal responsibilities will include:Take ownership of code deployment at Web Tier levelUndertake configuration tasks as requiredAssist with the build and configuration of any new environmentsAssist the Configuration Manager with the documentation of both Testing and Live ConfigurationsAssist with improving both Configuration and Release ManagementThe ideal candidate will have 1-2 years practical experience of software configuration, and assembling and managing software releases, as well as practical experience with Software development lifecycles. Experience of automated code release is desirable, and you will ideally have worked in a .Net environment and have an IT based degree. Candidates must have a good understanding of Windows 2000/2003 Server and web site architecture, experience of SQL and VSS, and also be able to administer IIS5.0 and greater. You will have good analytical skills, strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work under own initiative within a high pressurised development team.
