Description:

Our client is a leading provider of innovative user-interface and embedded browser software, and has an impressive listof global customers. They are currently looking for a Software Architect whose responsibility it is to design, develop,test, debug, document and maintain portable software to agreed specifications. You will also be required to liaise withother software engineers, provide input on work estimates, create and maintain development documentation and to supportother sections of the company in the sale and support of products and services. Candidates should also, ideally, beskilled in Windows, Linux and possibly ThreadX, pSOS, Os/9, VxWorks, QNX or ECOS. It is essential that applicants havesomething like five years or so commercial embedded C experience and software development. You should also have soundknowledge of (and willingness to) program for both Unix and Windows and knowledge of real-time systems. Ideally, you willbe familiar with internet technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP etc. This role requires a committed,enthusiastic and innovative individual!
