Qualified Social Worker working for Long Term Child Care Team including Child Protection, Care Proceedings and Family Support. Duties include Supervision, ensuring that all records are kept up to date of all cases allocated. Attend Case Conferences and Departmental Meetings. Must have knowledge of the following: Children & Families in a statutory setting, Child Care Legislation Childrens Act 1989, working with and planning for Children Looked After, Assessment and planing for Children in Need, Child Protection Investigation, Registration on Child Protection Register and direct work with children who have suffered abuse.
