Description:

An experienced Structural Engineer is required to help lead and grow a strong structural team within a multi-disciplinary design office. The role will require an individual who has demonstrated their ability to manage and deliver multiple projects on time and on budget. You will be working in a demanding environment, liaising with clients, colleagues and architects. You will be a team player with first rate communication skills and be well grounded in first principles. As Senior Structural Engineer your role will involve: Act as Job Leader and (in some circumstances) Project Leader Operate and competently work on an independent basis Manage single or multi-disciplinary projects Prepare technical and financial proposals for new work Plan and monitor job resourcing/expenditure and adjust as necessary Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design Check/verify other team members work Monitor financial performance of jobs Be alive to new project opportunities ONLY ENGINEERS WITH RELEVANT GENERAL BUILD EXPERIENCE NEED APPLY
