To be responsible to the Unit Manager as a memberof the staff team for the direct day-to-day care ofthe children and young people and other supportivetasks and duties.Essential to the position1. An openness to new ideas and innovative ways ofworking.4. A positive view of client children/young peoplebeing looked after.5. Good communication skills, both verbal andwritten.6. Proven ability to maintain, on a day to daybasis, the necessary systems to maintain a healthyand safe environment.7. Ability to allocate staff resources to theoptimum uses.Desirable for the position1. 1yr+ experience of working with children.2. Creative approach to day time and leisureactivities.3.
