My client is a UK and European road hauler specialising in UK and European next day delivery as well as air freight, ocean freight and freight forwarding. Services include: UK Services Quarter, Half and Full pallet options Next Day and Economy (48-72hr) service Multi pallet tariff 9am, Timed and Saturday delivery options Carriage Forward and Carriage Transfer Much of their success can be attributed to an ongoing commitment to customer service and an understanding of their true requirements. European Services Full load and groupage Import and Export JIT / Timed deliveries Express Hazardous Full range of trailer options Specialist services Warehouse Services Pick & Pack: from receipt of orders either online or electronic transfer, their warehouse team pick daily to create single or multi SKU shipments for onward distribution. Inventory Management: A comprehensive inventory management service for all stock is offered to clients. Reports are tailored to meet customer KPI requirements and are fully computerised. My client has 4 sites with each site having over 50000sq ft of 24hour security protected warehousing space. My client provides solutions within all sectors of the supply chain, from purchase order to delivery at the end user. This integration allows customers the freedom to concentrate on their core business areas, with assurance that they will provide reliable and constantly monitored solutions. Air Freight The growth and diverse locations of global manufacturing and production have led to a continuous and increasing demand for fast and efficient air freight transportation services throughout the world and my client can meet the ever increasing need for international shipments whether they be parcels, documents, raw materials or finished goods. Ocean Freight My client offers comprehensive ocean services. From one pallet (LCL) to full container loads (FCL) our sea freight department will ship via the most practical and cost effective route. Complimented by our warehouse services and UK distribution, a forty foot FCL can be de-vanned and freight distributed to the end user, within twenty four hours of receipt to our depot. Due to expansion my client is seeking to bring on board someone from within the logistics industry. My client is looking to recruit a senior regional logistics sales manager who has extensive knowledge of multi modal freight forwarding sales. He or she should have a minimum of 10 years experience from within logistics and at least 5 from within sales. The successful candidate will have knowledge of road, air and sea freight, including container management, European short sea route knowledge and European road and rail links.
