RoleProvision of a range of Engineering Services Designto external and internal customers in the nuclear,commercial and industrial sectors.Services to include conceptual and detailed design,technical consultancy and project management inpursuit of professional excellence and the aims andobjectives of our clientReport directly to the Line Manager within theMechanical and Electrical Services team and carryout the full range of professional tasks andservices to meet client requirements to the higheststandards. All in full compliance with legislation,regulations and current Codes of Practice, withinbudget and to client driven timescalesDevelop and maintain good customer relations whenresponding to enquiries or implementing projects.PERSON SPECIFICATIONMECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL BUILDING SERVICESENGINEERSCRITERIAQUALIFICATIONSDegree in Building Services Engineering [orequivalent]Chartered EngineerEXPERIENCEMinimum 10 years experience in design andimplementationof mechanical and electrical building servicesinstallationsExperience of energy conservationExperience of condition and asset surveys ofmechanicaland electrical building services installationsInterpretation of customer requirements andpreparationof concept and detail design drawings andcalculations tomeet the needs of both internal and externalclientsComprehensive knowledge and application ofregulations,legislation, codes of practice and current designstandardsapplicable to mechanical and electrical buildingservices installationsSKILLS AND ABILITYAbility to maximise business from existingcustomers byunderstanding their needs and creating awareness ofour clients services and range of skillsComputer literateAbility to train and develop othersExperience of software packages.
