: A major contractor to the worldwide Oil and Gas industry are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to add to the development program in their Aberdeen office Our client has a permanent staff vacancy for the role of Senior Planning Engineer to assist the Operations Manager / Project Managers to complete projects on time and within approved schedules and head up the planning team. The successful candidate will support Project Manager decision-making processes providing all information necessary for a rapid identification of any unfavourable trend or any potential problem in time to start immediate corrective actions, create a schedule awareness atmosphere among all project participants. The successful applicant will also be expected to organise and maintain the best integration between scheduling and cost control functions ensuring that any activity is carefully planned and controlled in terms of time, budget and scope of work; implement the application of the Corporate / Department current procedures, standards and requirements. The role will also involve the fostering of junior resources with the appropriate transfer of technical knowledge in order to consolidate and effective Planning Team. The role will involve planning for a variety of FPSO's and vessels. It is important that applicants have strong experience of Primavera, MS Project and Excel.
