An Infrastructure Engineer is required to manage a Network team for a world-leading innovator of web-based solutions,providing complete operational control and ownership of production environments. You will seek ways of improving theoperational efficiency within networks and security environments and will work on all aspects of technical infrastructuresupport for the company. You will assist the Service Delivery Manager to deliver reliable and resilient 24/7 ASP servicesin support of company goals and global clients. Data Centre experience is essential as is knowledge of Operating SystemsLinux and Windows 2003/2000. Must have experience with Active Directory, Exchange 2003/2000, patch management, Linux/Unixtechnologies: Apache, Netfilter/iptables, Samba, SSH. An good understanding of Network technologies such as LAN, WAN,TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VPN and routing is also required. NAS and or SANs deployment skills, Server Hardening, IntrusionDetection, Syslog Analysis, BigBrother, OpManager and familiarity with DB2 and MS SQL Server is essential. Programmingcapabilities and Shell scripting would also be advantageous.
