As a memberof the training and employee relations team, this position has primary responsibility for management of the professionaland management skills training program. In addition, the Sr. HR Specialist will act as the Business Partner fordesignated departments and provide direction on employee relations matters.As a Business Partner this position will provide counsel on various employee relations issues and organizationaldevelopment initiatives. In addition this role necessitates: building the business partner relationship with managementand staff; understanding their business, goals, and challenges; and identifying and/or helping to address systemicissues.Our client's training program supports our Core Value of Learning and Self-improvement. Responsibility for theirprofessional and management skills courses entails vendor selection and management, program evaluation and maintenance,needs assessment, course development and implementation, skills reinforcement, planning and budgeting, metrics andanalysis, maintaining quality standards, oversight of training coordination, and marketing. This position will alsoprovide assistance to the International HR team in addressing training needs.The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of HR generalist experience with at least 3 years in Training and ER/OD. You willhave significant experience with Training Consultant assessment and relations, including selection, negotiatingcontracts, and providing feedback on course quality and design ann have strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience creating and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences will be of a great benefit and you will havedemonstrated project management, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.Proven experience coaching and counseling all levels of staff on a wide variety of issues, and a thorough understandingof performance management systems is essential.It is necessary that you have HR Generalist experience within the Software house industry arena. |
