Description:

Our client who manufacture electrical equipment and generators for power stations requires a Senior HR Officer.Reporting to the HR Manager , you will provide training & development (65%) and HR support (35%), including fostering a business partner approach to support Key Objectives, design and delivery of training and first line disciplinary & grievances procedures. Key ResponsibilitiesWork with business partners to provide a high performance culture Design, deliver and implement training and development plans, including statutory training Manage the performance appraisal process Train managers and supervisors in new policies and procedures To be responsible for 1st stage of the Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures Manage the training budget and SLAs for training providers Own new induction process, employee handbook,and key training and development projects Provide general support and deputise for HR Manager Essential Skills: - CIPD/ IPD qualified with ideally a degree level education.- 5-7 years experience as a HR generalist working across all business sectors.- Can demonstrate design, implementation and delivery skills over a wide variety of training programmes.- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels - Able to gain credibility with business partners - Strong team skills and able to lead key projects
