SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER - GLASGOW- PERMANENT- SALARY NEGOTIABLEOur client requires a Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with at least 8 years experience in groundengineering to support their Glasgow practice. You will be working primarily on Scottish projects but would also supportthe Ground Engineering Group on major projects throughout the UK. You will have the following qualifications andexperience:First degree in Civil Engineering or Geology. An MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similarsubjects. Chartered Engineer (ICE) or Geologist. Strong foundation, basement, earthworks and ground treatment (includingmine workings) design skills. A good understanding of ground investigation techniques and it's importance to derivingappropriate design parameters. Knowledge of contaminated land investigation and assessment would be of value.
