Continued growth and ambitiousexpansion plans for the plc has created the requirement for a high calibre individual to join the healthcare division.This is a pivotal role in the organisation for an individual who wants a long term career in a dynamic organisation.The Role:You will be responsible for the preparation and submission of tender proposals and bids for modular healthcarefacilities. This involves understanding and highlighting commercial risk and contract terms.Requires a sound understanding of procurement methodology, tender procedures and suppliers order procedures, thereforethe role will suit an individual who has commercial flair in terms of the commercial and contractual elements.You will need to be able to reflect employers requirements into a solid contractors proposal in order to secure workwithin limited tender periods. Therefore, this requires the person to be very focussed.The RequirementsThis role will suit an individual who enjoys getting into the detail and has experience in some of the following: JCTforms of contract, proposal writing, building regulations, HTM requirements, construction, modular buildings orhealthcare / hospital environments.Experience of preparing clear contractors proposals and identifying contractual risk in tender documents is important asis the ability to package work elements and obtain subcontract quotations. The successful candidate must be IT literate.This role will suit and stimulate a person who has commercial flair, not just a number cruncher. Additionally you willbe required to attend tender interviews and site meetings plus chair handover meetings and brief project managers plusalways be aware of health and safety issues.
