Description:

Responsibilities will include assisting contract and project managers through undertaking portfolio and one off workwithin the built environment division. You will be conducting risk assessments of building water systems for the controlof legionellosis, auditing client site records and log books to ensure adequate maintenance regimes are beingimplemented. Liaising with the contract and project managers in relation to work under their control, conductingassessments of ducted air conditioning systems and taking samples for microscopic and bacterial analysis. Additionalduties include carrying out environmental assessments of occupied areas in relation to indoor air quality, preparingcomprehensive reports including observations, recommendations and interpretation of laboratory analysis. Presenting anddiscussing reports with clients will also be required.The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a science based subject, preferably in Environmental Science. A goodworking knowledge of building mechanical services and thorough understanding of the legislation and guidance relating towater and indoor air quality will also be required.
