The candidate will be assisting the contract and project managers through undertaking portfolio and one off work withinthe built environment division.Responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments of building water systems for the control of legionellosis,auditing client site records and log books to ensure adequate maintenance regimes are being implemented. Liaising withthe contract and project managers in relation to work under their control, conducting assessments of ducted airconditioning systems and taking samples for microscopic and bacterial analysis. Additional duties include carrying outenvironmental assessments of occupied areas in relation to indoor air quality, preparing comprehensive reports includingobservations, recommendations and interpretation of laboratory analysis. Presenting and discussing reports with clientswill also be required.The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a science based subject, preferably in Environmental Science. A goodworking knowledge of building mechanical services and thorough understanding of the legislation and guidance relating towater and indoor air quality will also be required.
