RoleThe role involves but is not limited to the following: Responsible for managing a small team of up to 5 individuals Responsibility of delivering up to 10 projects concurrently to time and to budget Daily management of projects reporting to Project Manager Design and Design Management from inception to completion Supervising and managing assistant engineers and technicians Liaison with other members of project teams both internal and external Liaise with internal and external sub contractors Involvement with cost management, tenders, invoicing of projects Client presentations Circa 75% of time will be spent on Design.Candidate SpecificationDegree QualifiedProfessionally qualified Chartered Civil Engineer/completion of training scheme5 10 years engineering experience, minimum 3 years within a rail environmentIdeally personnel management and project management experiencePrevious consultancy experienceGood design experienceThe ambition to accept the challenge that this position offers
