The successful applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent, typically in Computer Science and have at least10 years professional software experienceThe successful candidates will have a good appreciation of good software engineering practices and of the requirements ofwriting real-time, multi-process applications. They should be able to design solutions and demonstrably write C to astandard that enables efficient maintenance and extension by themselves and others. Also essential is experience of therequirements needed to successfully bring products to the market-place including an understanding of the importance ofreliability, testing, production and support.Experience of the broadcast industry including video and audio mixing and the rendering of text and 2D and 3D graphics,C++, development of embedded systems, developing on or for a Linux/UNIX platform, open-source software packages,real-time programming and networking would all be beneficial.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software developer to join a company at the leading edge of broadcasttechnology that is providing the industry with an exciting range of products.
