Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience ofpreparation of specifications and detail design of electrical equipment on offshore projects.Scope JobSupervises Discipline and graduate Engineers. Shall ensure that all allocated responsibilities are dealt withaccordingly. Maintain technical integrity within discipline.Ensure that the work output of discipline assigned staff complies with relevant procedures.Review work/work output of discipline assigned staff as required.Prepare estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules.Ensure that results of any development work are fully utilised in discipline activities.Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required.Providing documentation and drawing deliverables for inclusion in workpacks and or design books on time to meet offshoredeadlines. Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe.Taking part and contributing to construction risk assessment and construction method statements.Responsible as a key member of any Project team for achieving the Project target and completion of the Project within thebudget and schedule.Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe.Qualifications/Experience:Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or minimum HND qualification.Minimum 10 years engineering experience, including minimum 5 years oil and gas related experience.Conversant with International, National and Client Standards and Specifications.Fully conversant with Engineering software including Word and Excel.Able to work as part of a team with good communication and interpersonal skills.Duration: long termRate: negotiable
