CLIENT DESCRIPTION:With new product launches, new sales processes, and new ways to market - changes are happening faster every year.Our client specialises in designing interactive, tailored training programmes for sales people, customer service andtechnical support people. They have Blue Chip clients in IT and telecommunications with content online in over 30countries.Their work is engaging, interactive and highly effective - tailored to quickly improve each individual's knowledge.Recently short listed for a national Excellence in e learning award.ROLE:To create and develop the relationship with key large customers with whom the client has several current projects plusongoing content updates.To lead the way to winning new business with new customers in the IT & telecommunications industry.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSIt is essential that all applicants are:Confident to operate across many disciplines and levels including:The Business sponsor; typically a senior sales or customer services managerThe Learning & Development professional; often someone who has many years experience of scoping, commissioning androlling out major training programmesContent designers; confident to translate customers business needs into instructional design concepts and thencollaborate with both the customer and development team.Articulate in developing rapport and additional business. Must have a very good command of English in both the spokenword and in writing. Experienced in developing strong business proposals that inspire action through a clear and logicalbusiness case.Experienced in:Bespoke Training. At least 5 years creating classroom/workshop content and then rolling out in a large corporateenvironment. Facilitation of Train the Trainer events would be a distinct advantage. Primary user areas are sales andcustomer service.Online Learning. At least 3 years advising clients and development teams on general online training instructional design,interactive learning objects and ensuring that the content remains relevant to the learners and meets the businessobjectives. A good working knowledge of the trends, latest techniques and software development tools.AmbitiousIf successful, within 2 3 years, the candidate would become:* General Manager, responsible for managing all the customer facing activity. After demonstrating a track record ofretaining customer loyalty, this position would then become * Managing Director designate with a view to taking overall day to day management and of the whole business.In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work inthe UK or EU.
