Working as part of a small team, mentoring less experienced editors and overseeing any freelance editors that may beused. Carrying out internal copy review as a key editorial quality approval stage. Contributing to the budgeting,mentoring of less experienced editors and overseeing the use of freelance editors. Editorial overseeing of specificjournal titles and publishing projects. Making appropriate key editorial and scientific decisions content and dailyoperations of projects.The correct candidate should be very well- developed editing skills and rewriting skills cross a range of text stylesminimum supervision required. Excellent interpersonal skills. At least a life science degree and 2 years professionalrelevant experience. Professional experience comprising of a publishing background preferably with emphasis on peerreviewed journals.
