A vacancy for an experienced and enthusiastic Product Design/ Development Engineer with a strong background inelectronics and optics in a measurment discipline. The ideal candidate will have a least 3 years experience ideally insmall size electronic or optical product design and a good degree probably in Electronics or Physics. Innovative systemdesign ability is required with understanding of design for high volume ideally with some familiarity with custom lightsources and detectors, optical elements such as DOE and CGH and small scale packaging techniques. A background in productdesign and development including some experience with low noise analogue electronics, digital techniques including microcontrollers, ASIC and FPGA, or custom optics is desirable.
