Description:

Our client is a highly progressive market leading FMCG manufacturer. Following a programme of positive change andexpansion they have identified the need to recruit two exceptional Senior Buyers based at their head-office inLancashire. They have a need to focus on the direct commodity spend and on indirect spend. Therefore two appointments areavailable, responsible for supplier performance management, contract negotiation, cost management / reduction, supplierquarterly business reviews, supplier selection and evaluation. To provide a cost effective sourcing solution that ensures that product quality, specification and target costs areachieved. To work closely with Development Engineering and Procurement Engineering Teams to ensure that you have input into thetotal cost of the product that you are responsible for, ensuring that you are driving improvements throughout thebusiness and supply base.To be considered for these appointments you will possess at least 3 years progressive buying experience of commodities orindirect products / services.
