Main Responsibilities and Tasks:In addition to fulfilling the general responsibilities of a Business Analyst within the job family definitions theBusiness Analyst will be required to fulfil the following responsibilities as part of the Project development team:> Will take the lead on directing the Business Analysis throughout the Elaboration Phase of the Project using OO and UML.> Will lead and mentor other team members in the use of UML Techniques and other appropriate analysis methods.> Will actively contribute Obejct Oriented based knowledge and ideas to the analysis and design of the application.> Will take responsibility for the gathering, defining, analysing, consolidating and documenting of cross brand business& system requirements.> Acquire understanding of business context and business requirements for the application in sufficient depth to helpsupport strategic decision making.> Provide strong direction to the project team on business rationale relating to identified requirements.> Will be responsible for Creation / Modification of Use Case Models and Associated Use Case Specifications.> Will be responsible for creation and modification of requirements specifications, and seeking agreement with BusinessCustomers at various levels of seniority.> Will be required to support team effort in the analysis, design, build and testing phases of the project.> Provide on-going feedback to program and project managers on business issues impacting the progress of the project.> Will be required to adhere to the Company Software Development Methodology framework / and IT Policy Manual throughoutthe project lifecycle.> Planning and Co-ordination of workshopsEssential Skills Required:~ A proven track record in delivering software projects under a Unified Approach with UML~ Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design Principles (5 Years experience)~ Sound knowledge of using UML in software development (5 Years experience)~ Expertise in the creation and refinement of Use Case Models and Use Case Specifications.~ Strong skills in business requirements gathering and analysis~ Excellent Documentation Skills~ Excellent Communication Skills~ Comfortable working with internal customers at various levels of seniority~ 3 years experience OO Modelling Tools preferably Rational Rose~ Able to lead a small team of analysts, assisting & metoring other team members as required
