Watford based client involved in design and manufacture of Gas and Vapour detection systems for the Military and commercial markets are looking for a Senior Biotechnologist. Your role will be to Provide technical input from a biotechnology perspective on specific programmes. Liaising with sub contractors, planning and executing experimental work. Responsible for ensuring that the scientific principles are not compromised during the engineering process. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Degree or higher in Biochemistry/Microbiology. Understanding of Immunology and immunologically based biosensors. Knowledge of infectious disease desirable but first hand experience not required. The individual should not be too specialised but should instead be flexible, keen to learn and capable of working of several projects simultaneously.
