Description:

This is a rare opportunity to join a market leading company as the Senior Asset Liability Manager. You will be a leadingcontributor to the Financial Risk Management and Asset Liability Management team.Duties will include: The function holder will be the company's recognised expert in derivatives modelling, and to apply that knowledge inthe design and operation of hedging strategies for new and existing products. To lead and contribute to Asset Liability Management studies/investigations in the business. To make recommendations to the Company Investment Committee on asset allocation strategy which will maximise returnsfor policyholders and shareholders for a defined and agreed level of risk. To participate with other areas of the Financial Risk Management function - in particular assisting in capitaloptimisation, FSA requirements, GRM reporting, risk tools and enhancing financial risk culture. To participate with other areas of the Financial Risk Management function in developing and implementing all internaland external MI and reporting requirements stemming from the Financial Risk Management function, including economic valuecreation metrics for senior management.As a qualified investment specialist or actuary with a sound finance background and knowledge of derivatives and creditmarkets, you will have experience of modelling derivatives including equity derivatives, modelling credit and structuredcredit assets.You will have a track record of producing quality high level financial reports and associates analyses.
