SENIOR & INTERMEDIATE PIPELINE ENGINEERS - ABERDEEN - CONTRACT OR PERMANENTWe are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match clients specification and for this position are able to work within the EU.Our Client has offices and operational bases located in major industrial areas both nationally and internationally, providing services to a wide range of industries including power generation, nuclear, manufacturing, oil and gas, petrochemical and engineering fabrication. They are looking for a Senior Pipeline Engineer for the Aberdeen area.Main Purpose/Function of Job:To ensure that there are inspection/integrity procedures and systems in place and implemented. To co-ordinate the impact of relation inspection/maintenance activities on the Operations Integrity Assurance Scheme and technical performace standards and that such activities are aligned with the business plan for the in field pipelines.Qualifications:Chartered or Incorporated Engineer to either Degree or HND/HNC standards in an appropriate discipline.You should have 10 years (5 years for intermediate level) oil/gas experience with a minimum 3 years related to Pipeline Integrity. Working knowledge of mechanical engineering, corrosion management, NDE, subsea practices and related legislation and codes of practice. Ability to work independently in challenging circumstances and use initiative to propose and implement changes to work practices.Rate/Salary: Our Client has asked us to quote what each individual is lookingfor so please advise us what rate/salary your are seeking.
