SENIOR & INTERMEDIATE CORROSION ENGINEERS - ABERDEEN - CONTRACT OR PERMANENTWe are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match clients specification and for this position are able to work within the EU.Our Client has offices and operational bases located in major industrial areas both nationally and internationally, providing services to a wide range of industries including power generation, nuclear, manufacturing, oil and gas, petrochemical and engineering fabrication. They are looking for a Senior Corrosion Engineer for the Aberdeen area. They are also looking for good Intermediate Corrosion Engineers.Main Purpose/Function of Job:Operating and updating of the platform Corrosion Control Strategy and the provision of general Corrosion Engineering Support.Qualifications:Degree qualified in engineering related discipline preferably chartered status or coporate member of a learned institution. Post graduate qualification in Corrosion Engineering preferred. For Intermediate level good HNC/HND in appropriate discipline and Incorporated status.You should have a minimum of 10 years (5 years for intermediate level) related experience and sound knowledge of plant and process chemistry. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable national and international standards and the ability for reasoning and problem solving.
