If you feel you have the skills & experience required,then we would like to hear from you.Senior Account Executive / Account ManagerAll candidates must come from a PR agency background. Ideally we are looking for candidates with between 3- 4 years IT PRexperience, preferably software and security, is vital for this role. We are looking for a team player who is happy towork closely with clients, the media & colleagues. Experience of trade press & business press is essential. Theopportunity exists for the right candidate to be involved with new business pitches and client account development. Ourclient is committed to your development, and you can expect to receive both internal & external training to support you.AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:The PR Account Manager is directly responsible for the planning and execution of all client activities approved includingclient strategy - by the PR Account Director. The employee may be required from time to time to assist in areas outsidethose indicated. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:Tactical responsibilities Drafting press releases, case studies and opinion articles Take responsibility for the generation of monthly status reports, rolling calendars, clippings books and contactreports Media database management Day-to-day and strategic client liaison and servicing Minimal features monitoring and information submission Media relations Conducting monthly status meetings Manage Senior/Account Executive on assigned clients Promotion and trade show attendance where applicable Product launches and fulfilment Maintenance of client spreadsheetsStrategic responsibilities Quotes, estimates and contracting for cross-departmental clients Account and project management (across disciplines where required) Management of accounts according to budget/resource allocation Maintenance of assigned client timesheets for client servicing and costs Leading presentation for client strategic reviews Retain and develop client relationships Cross selling our services Account planning and strategyNew business responsibilities Preparing for and leading new business pitches Taking a brief Sourcing and qualifying new business leadsDepartmental responsibilities Administrative activities related to the department Client team management Read relevant magazines and develop market knowledge Distribution and dissemination of information internally Company PR planning and implementation Staff training and management
