Our client is searching for a Packaging Engineer to design, specify and document new package development and assembly ofGaAs MMIC products. Thermal, mechanical and electrical modelling will be required and part of the role will involve theassessment of assembly and packaging subcontractors.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications;- Good semiconductor packaging experience for volume manufacturing- High frequency electronic package design and GaAs MMIC product experience- Ability to liaise with overseas subcontractors- Excellent communication skills- BSc Physics or equivalentPlease call to discuss further.
